I removed the forum.

If you want to know why AliceForever is now the worst site evar, blame HostMonster's horrific administrative policies and read bellow.

Also only if I get a significant upcry will i attempt to start over with the forum.

Initial Ticket:

Dear Hostmonster,

I am a paying customer and had no trouble the first several months with our relationship in fact I recommended you to several of my peers and purchased another domain through you. Somethings I now wish I had not done as you feel the need to abuse our trust. I paid you well for what i have used from you. I even started a small online community with your services based on a book I love. That community was one of the only and one of the first communities for Alice Cullen a character from the popular books twilight. AliceForever even went on to become a official fan-site and reviewed a few fan publishings. I even set up a subdomain for my art work and another for a Java library I've been writing for several years, SASlib.com. You where good to me hostmonster. Now why do you find that you must abuse our trust and our wonderful relationship.

You ban me with out first contacting me, the site owner, by phone call or email which you have, which is just plain rude, Hostmonster. You hang up on me when I call to ask why you must do this banning thing to me. If that was only it my site is often unreachable from me, the site owner or my peers across the nation, and when I ask you why you this may happen all I ever receive back from you is a slick email saying everything looks wonderful over here, do you think I would lie to you? To think I pay for such treatment.

Now, hostmonster has come a critical point in our relationship and this is my ultimatum, either shape up or compensate me for this abrupt termination of my paying relationship to you.

Now this is the second time through this little game and I think the old proverb must hold, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on you."

Very Agitated,

Wil Cecil.

We're an official Twilight Fansite, and have permission to use Stephanie Meyer's work.

___ARE YOU KIDDING ME?___

We are listed on Stephanie Meyer's Official Website (http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/ts_fansites.html) and have her permission to use any and all press related work. No full books are there just brief passages and the first chapter which has been released for publicity.

I am very disappointed in your service hostmonster. Very disappointed. You just shake the ban stick wildly. I really don't appreciate this treatment and demand to be credited for all down time. Really an official fan site releasing press material and you ban us for it. This does not say much in the positive light for your company as a whole.

Dear HostMonster,

Your phone Abuse Support is not listed as an option on the phone tree, which is very unhelpful. I've tried using billing and technical support which claim to forward me and proceed to hang up which says nothing good of your company as a whole.

You had the option to call and if i didnt answer to leave me a message or to email me rather than resort to swinging the ban stick wildly and unfairly at my site. Which I am most displeased with and am demanding retribution for.

Furthermore, as you have disabled my site completely and this is a php forum I can not prove or disprove the validity of this. But as the book has not been printed or released and I have Stephanie Meyer's the authors permission to distribute promotional material, in fact I am emailed promotional material.

Moreover, you are making my whole site suffer for a single forum post. If I had been in your shoes, I would have fist informed you of this potential DCMA infrengment and asked me to evaluate and remove the content or at a minimum asked me to remove the content from your server.

If nothing else I demand to speak with this Mr. Graeme Grant an "Internet Investigator" as well as be reimbursed for down time as your company, HostMonster, is willing to turn off my entire site without first asking me, the paying customer, to evaluate and remove any supposedly copyrighted material.

I am extremely unstratified with your handling of this incident and am demanding retribution for this, in fact I would prefer a refund for the remainder of time left in our time remaining. You have my information on how to contact me.

Disgruntled and Abused Customer,

William Cecil
